The Warrenton Youth Sports Club (WYSC) is seeking a Technical Director for the Travel Program.
The Technical Director will be responsible for:
- Promoting WYSC Travel Ready Program.
- Supporting travel teams.
- Defining, coordinating and holding practices for WYSC travel teams and Travel Ready Program (TRP).
- Recruiting and scheduling additional trainers, as needed, to cover all travel team and TRP curriculums.
- Attending travel program tryouts and making recommendations to club director and travel team coaches.
- Coordinating the expansion of the travel program with 2 new U10 travel teams each fall season, 1 boy and 1 girl
- Coordinating, with the help of the travel teams, a new WYSC travel tournament.
Required Experience:
- Possess USSF National Youth License or willingness to obtain within one year.
- Soccer playing background.
- Available to work weekends during the travel season.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous coaching experience.
Technical director will report directly to the club director. Position will become available with the start of the fall 2009 season.
Compensation will be based on candidates previous experience and number of WYSC travel teams.
