Winter 2008

January 2nd, 2008..... Referee Pay checks.

Referees will be paid twice each season.
    1st check will be mailed after the 5th week of the season is completed.
    2nd check will be mailed after the completion of the season.

  ALL REFEREE are required to register as a volunteer referee. To register referees need to use WYSC’s volunteer registration system. Please see link "Volunteer Registration" on the Recreational Basketball home page.

This winter WYSC offers 2 BONUS programs.

The 1st bonus program is intended to reward those referees doing an great job.

Coaches can award referee/s points by sending an email to basketball@wysc.org Emails MUST be received within 7 days of the game, and include referee name, age division, game date, time and location.
Each email will count as one (1) point. At the end of the season the 3 top referees will receive the following prizes;

1st price $100 | 2nd price $75 | 3rd price $50

The 2nd bonus program is intended to reward referees based on the number of games worked during the season.

For every 10 games worked during the season, a referee will receive payment for one (1) extra game.
This 2nd bonus will be paid at the end of the winter season.
Referee/s missing any of their scheduled games will be dropped from both "Bonus Programs".
